Awareness Poster (Part 2)

I decided to go with a bomb since someone left a comment saying the gun made it seem like it was about suicide. The bomb worked out because it is actually coming off of the cigarette which I think looked good. Therefore, I have a person smoking a bomb and once they finish... boom. I went with a silhouette because I believe it is the most effective. There is no reason to have detail because it lessens the impact of the message. I only made the word "kills" red to really emphasize the effect.

Awareness Poster (Part 1)

My poster is all about creating awareness of smokers. Smoking will kill you. The best way to make this evident is by showing just that. I decided to replace a cigarette with various lethal weapons to illustrate that you are basically killing yourself. I have yet to decide if I am going to stick with the gun or the bomb, I think both work well but I don't know which one would have more of an impact.

Create a Photomontage (Part 2)

My band is called Doomsday. The idea is for the image to be the end of the world, destruction, etc. My picture specifically focuses on New York City's destruction. It includes the building being demolished, nukes exploding, a helicopter flying by, tsunami and finally - the statue of liberty sinking. All of this mixed together simply illustrates the end of the world. This image is black and white to show how the life has been taken away from the world since it is coming to an end.

My band is called Doomsday. I had a brainstorming session for a good name and felt it fit perfectly. The idea is for the image to be the end of the world, destruction, etc. My picture specifically focuses on New York City's destruction. It includes the building being demolished, nukes exploding, a helicopter flying by, tsunami and finally - the statue of liberty sinking. All of this mixed together simply illustrates the end of the world. This image will end up being black and white to show how the life has been taken away from the world since it is coming to an end.

I can't draw for the life of me which is why most items are just boxes with the word inside. This is why I stick to computer graphics.
